- Layers– This may sound simple but many people dress too warmly and overheat while working out in cold weather. You want to stay warm during your exercise warm-up but be able to peel off layers as your body heat rises. - Safety Gear-The days are getting shorter so your morning and evening workouts may be taking place in the dark. If you are outdoors, be sure to wear bright colors and outerwear with reflective inserts.
- Switch it up! The change of seasons is a great time to switch up your workout. This challenges your body in new ways and allows you to accommodate the changing weather. Have you tried my Visibly Fit in 84 Days challenge yet?
- Stay hydrated. You may not notice it as much in cold weather, but you do still sweat and you need to replenish fluids. So, drink your water often.
