With the multitudes of distraction and the “look at me” opportunities through social media and media in general, I have to wonder if it’s diluting the essence of God’s character traits and reflecting another. Actually, I don’t have to wonder for very long….do you?
Ever since the fall of mankind, our audience of ONE (THE ONE) has shifted subtly and yet when we take a moment to look around – it’s so obvious to see.
It’s time to get back to the audience of ONE….mindset.
We have the mind of Christ, therefore not walking out that reflection in our own lives only leads to anxiety, depression, sadness, regret, resentment and the list goes on. That list that goes on causes a ripple effect to others in our life.
Health isn’t just about the physical body….health is the mind and spirit too.
At the end of the day…what really matters is what God thinks of me and you. Not anyone on social media or the person at the grocery store, but of what God thinks of us. May you and I walk in HIS ways and bring Him great delight today!
If you are looking for a scripture verse to pray and meditate on, here’s one I reflect on often.
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah 55:8
