Planes, trains, and automobiles…that’s where you’ll find the majority of people every day. Whether it’s to and from the office or to appointments and meetings people are on the move, but unfortunately, they are contained in small spaces while “on the move,” depending of course upon their choice of travel.
Did you know that you would feel more refreshed and ready for your meetings if you took the time to perform simple, small exercises while in your car, on the subway, or even on an airplane? “Really?” You may ask. Yes! Exercise doesn’t have to be in the traditional form of going to the gym to reap the benefits. Your Body IS Your Gym™ and you take it everywhere with you! Let your workouts start working with you and your schedule instead of working so hard to figure out how to fit your workout into your day.
For instance, if you were sitting next to me while traveling on an airplane, you would find me practicing a variety of exercises during the trip. From arm and abdominal isometrics to leg and calf raises. The secret lies within the tension I use on the small move. You’ll see in the video on this blog a few simple Visibly Fit™ exercises that you can do on the airplane and no one will hardly even know. Half the time, the person next to you is snoozing anyway. I also always suggest that you get up every 45 minutes to an hour of your flight just to walk the aisle and keep the blood circulating. Hope you enjoy and learn a few exercises to put into practice while on your next airplane commute. Just remember to… Flex in the City, Flex in the Air, Flex ANYWHERE!
