Fitness is all the rage these days, however, for some, it can sting when fitness is brought up. You CAN have a better attitude towards fitness and here’s how…
First, we need to understand what fitness really is…or isn’t.
Fitness isn’t all about muscles and protein drinks. These things are important, sure, but there is so much more to fitness than only these two elements.
True fitness encompasses your physical health, emotional health, and spiritual health. Without these three components, you’re not truly fit.
So, how can you change your attitude about fitness?
Take into consideration where you are at in each component. Is your spiritual health where you want it to be? Maybe it’s because you’re not caring well for your body in a physical way. How is your emotional health? Maybe you need to improve your spiritual health to boost your emotional health.
All of the facets of fitness work together to produce a fully healthy and bountiful life.
When you consider fitness in levels of spiritual, mental, and physical, you can take baby steps to get to where you want to go. You don’t need to be a power-lifter to be fit, all it takes is a little bit of work each day.
Set micro-goals for yourself, work to a place of a growth mindset so if you “mess up” you can just learn from it and keep going instead of letting it derail your progress.
Being fit truly just means being healthy in your mind, body, and spirit.
