As most of us are dealing with being quarantined, we find that we still have to venture out to shop for food and necessities.

Plan & prepare – no reason to panic
- This is a great time to get those extra steps in by parking as far away as possible from the grocery store.
- Stores usually have wipes at the entrance – use those
- Stock up on essentials so you can batch cook and freeze
IMPORTANT ITEMS TO STOCK UP ON
- Vegetable broth – organic get several, they’re great for stews and soups
- Beans like quinoa great to mix with rice and spices and vegetables. Make sure the cans are BPA free and organic
- Rice – always good to have on hand – Forbidden Rice, it’s black rice, organic and non-GMO
- Frozen vegetables – **Even though they’re flash-frozen, your still getting nutrients
- Organic kale – great for smoothies
- Cauliflower
- Mixed veggies
- Green drinks, make ahead of time so you can grab and go. Grab a zip-lock baggie and add:
- Kale, lemon, lime, 1 or 2 strawberries for sweetness, ginger, some apple, cucumber slices, lettuce, press out air, zip, and store in the freezer. Drink one everyday to build your IMMUNE SYSTEM
- Freeze fresh fruits too before they go bad.
