Mother’s have great influence. Even mother figures.
As you’ve been home more due to COVID-19 either on your own or with your family – you’ve probably come to the conclusion that batch cooking saves you time so you aren’t in the kitchen for long periods preparing every meal.
It’s also a great time to teach and train your children to help make these batch meals. A simple one, to begin with, would be batch cooking steel-cut oats for the week. Let them figure out the math equation of tripling or quadrupling the cooking instructions.
Also, it’s a good time to get your family members in the kitchen to assist in peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables and fruits for salads in a jar or maybe for roasting veggies or a vegetable stir fry.
Coming together in the kitchen can save you time while equipping your kids (or maybe your spouse) with a few cooking skills.
