“Letting Go” with Coach Jeffery Combs
Addiction can disguise itself in many ugly little ways. We can see addiction as procrastination, shopping when we’re upset, eating our feelings, and of course, addictions to drugs or alcohol. But did you know that we can also be addicted to certain emotions?
In almost all cases of addiction, there comes an all-time low, or what many of us know as rock bottom. Jeff hit rock bottom after two years of drug and alcohol abuse. He felt lost, helpless, angry, and disconnected. Can you relate to this pain? Have you reached rock bottom?
Today, we speak to Jeffrey Combs, a man who has a very personal relationship with addiction and recovery. Jeffrey talks to us about the science behind addiction and the ways in which we can free ourselves from our addictive emotions in a process he calls, letting go.
