Not only is February the month of love, but it is also the month of heart health. For many people, their heart’s health goes with their body’s general health.
In reality, there is so much you can do for the health of your heart beyond physical fitness.
Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
If our heart is not healthy, our bodies can’t be healthy. This goes for our physical as well as our spiritual.
If you caught my recent post with Cynde’s testimonial, in it she mentions, “It’s so important that in our lives we incorporate all three of those [mind + body + spirit], that’s what God intended. He created us that way and so it’s important that we don’t look at those as separate compartments but that they’re all combined into one.”
And that is not something to ignore. While yes, the health of our bodies can benefit the health of our hearts, our hearts are a key component to the health of our bodies. We not only need to maintain good physical practices for our heart, but Spiritual ones as well.
How can you do both?
