So the soil your food is grown in doesn’t have chemicals mixed into it. Because of that, your body can absorb the nutrients from the foods you’re eating more efficiently. The nutrients from the foods have not been depleted because of chemicals, fertilizers, or pesticides.
Our bodies are blocked with lots of inflammation due to the production processes and hormones used in almost all of the food we consume here in America. Many of the food practices that have been found to be dangerous have been outlawed in other developed countries.
The US still has some faulty practices in place, non-organic foods being one of them.
So, is organic food better for you? Yes.
The foods that you eat that are organic are CLEAN foods. When you hear someone mention that they are eating clean, that typically means they have emptied their diets of processed foods and it SHOULD mean that they are also eating all organic and non-GMO to fully reap the benefits of clean eating.
Non-organic food is scary because of all of the links found between non-organic and cancer. The pesticides and hormones used on foods that are non-organic and non-GMO are known to cause and increase inflammation in our bodies and inflammation is a root cause of the breakdown of the brain, the immune system, the ability to heal the body at a cellular level.
The best food practice, when thinking about grocery shopping or ordering out, is to as much as possible, purchase organic and non-GMO. Your body will begin the healing process and flush out all of the toxins and can begin to heal and restore other issues you may have experienced.
Eat clean, whole food that’s organic – it is worth it in the long run.
