Swimsuit season is literally only a few weeks away. Does that reality make you want to run a few laps around the block?
If so, it means that you might not feel “summer body” ready quite yet.
But, don’t go all crazy cramming in intense workout if you haven’t been working out already. You could risk injury and then summer wouldn’t be much fun.
You want to ease into working out. The key in seeing a difference in the next few weeks is in your consistent daily efforts. Even if it’s walking. Move that body and be intentional.
If you lack motivation then find your fitness tribe, even if it’s online (which of course is the only way to workout currently due to the quarantine).
Make sure to establish a deep-rooted “why.” As in WHY do I want to be healthy over and beyond the short-term swimsuit season goal. And give yourself healthy rewards along the way as you remain consistent in your efforts.
You’ll not only feel better in that swimsuit, but you’ll feel better in your own skin as well.
